Wonderful island of 5 hectares in a lake in Patagonia, Chile (unit conversión: 1 hectare = 2.47 acres)
Nature:
This Island is surrounded by native forest of coihues, cypress, hazel, ulmo, and other species. The undergrowth is mainly murta, which offers exquisite fruit at the end of March.
From time to time, you can see pudu, the smallest deer in the world, huiña, and birds such as cara cara, hummingbirds, “bacon-eaters,” Magellanic woodpecker, tiuque, etc. Birds nest on the shores above the water, where you can find rainbow trout.
Buildings:
There is a dirt road that surrounds the island and there are others that connect the different buildings. On the island, there are two houses and secondary constructions, one for the generator and another fuel cellar. There is also a chicken coop, where there are currently 20 hens for the supply of eggs. Around the houses, there are fruit trees such as cherry trees, sour cherries, plum trees and others.
Both houses have solar panels and a generator as needed. Both houses have running water and an electricity system renovated 4 years ago at 220w. The ceilings were renovated 2 years ago and their maintenance is impeccable.

There is hot water throughout the house that is supplied by a water tank located in the kitchen.
Inside the house, all the windows have a view of the garden and the lake. Near the fireplace, there is an inviting bow window.
The gas tubes from the two chimneys on the first floor pass through the bathroom and one of the rooms on the second floor above, helping to heat this area of the house.
The house is made of native alerce and cypress wood. The exterior displays impregnated cypress shingles. A new roof was installed 3 years ago and is made of zinc plate imitation singles. There is insulation both in the roof and in the floor to help maintain indoor temperatures.
The house has a septic tank system and several drainage chambers.
The cabin:
It is located on high ground directly facing the lake and has its own floating dock for a boat. It is accessed through a large terrace where you can see the large windows of the first floor.
